Now that we're best friends, I've come to shed a little light on the doom and gloom most of you are expressing for tonights game.

After a huge road trip and a very emotional win back at home the Canucks are due for a let down game. It's usually the first game back from a trip when they poop the beds but they sucked it up this time and gutted out (barely) a win. Between Daniels 1000th point and Dorsetts career suddenly coming to and end the Canucks had a lot to fight for.

Come out flying and score early... I think you guys take this game.

What is it with fan bases of other teams' fans coming in with the pre-emptive excuse? This is like the 3rd or 4th time I've seen it recently.

So now we get to feel even worse when the Canes lose, because we couldn't beat a hapless team, on the first game back from a trip, blah blah, blah.

How is it that we suck, but yet the Nucks are playing decent/good, when the Canes actually have a better record than the Nucks (point %). Granted, we will lose tonight and they will have a better record, but still.
