I'm beyond tired of Shattenkirk sitting there trying redirect traffic and call plays in between every break meanwhile he doesn't have the slightest clue as to where to be himself...

TdA is a better version of Shattenkirk. At the time, Shatty seemed a good signing (and it’s hard to say otherwise), but we now have a younger, cheaper and gutsier alternative. That’s not a bad thing — just frustrating.

Shot attempts were 18-7 but xG was pretty close.

How do you expect Chytil to do anything with these two plugs? Lettieri and Mcleod are two of if not the 2 worst players in the league. Easily.

Vancouver had a lot of offensive zone time....but really no quality chances...and were on the perimeter most of the time. True, we couldn't get out of our own zone, but nothing really dangerous came of it.

One plays with Kreider and Hayes the other with McLeod and Lettieri, not a difficult guess here.

McLeod had some solid forechecking work.. it’s pretty clear Chytil wants the puck and he’s going to try to put on a one man show. He’s not strong enough to hold off guys, he’s not reading plays and getting to open ice, and he just flat out not stick handling well enough to do what he’s trying...

Every nhl player at some point has to learn what they can and can’t do in the big leagues
