I'm fine with McLord if he plays 6 minutes and plays it hard and fights and if he's not with Fil. Fil actually does make McLeod less effective at what he does.

So, someone said earlier....when we were good, we had no luck

So.....is this the NHL's cruel way of allowing us to be lucky when we suck......to NOT allow us to get that "franchise player" that we need so desperately?

if Shattenkirk continues to play this any chance he gets bought out in the summer?

He'll come back better next year, hopefully. Sometimes you start on the wrong foot with a new coach and things goes like this for an entire 1st half.

It's almost as if it's due to a long standing pattern of not being quite good enough when we needed to be, and not be being quite bad enough when we needed to be.

I can see why Boston threw Spooner in that deal with no reluctance or afterthought. They knew he wasn't going to be worth whatever RFA bridge deal he gets.

Both Chytil and Lias playing in the top 6. McLeod, Lettieri, and Spooner pretty much stapled to the bench. Quinn is pushing the right buttons with HFNYR tonight.
