Filip PuljujarviLooks like Spooner slots in for Buchnevich on the first line. 90-93-23. Second and third remain same — 20-13-50, and 26-21-17, and fourth is 8-72-95. Seven D rotating in, so hard to tell if there are changes there. We talk to DQ after. - Colin Stephenson on twitter

This is just ridiculous. Try to be a bit more realistic next time bro.106-2 NYR

Spooner (4)

Spooner has been AWOL all season, but somehow still, Quinnie regards him to be some kind of an "ace in the hole". More like a deuce, I say. Technically speaking, he IS, more than a decent offensive player, its just that he HASN'T BEEN AT ALL THIS SEASON, not even close. I suppose, Spooner or later.......I mean sooner, just seems Quinnie is banking on something (getting him going?), but simply doesn't seem at all justified. You can literally make a case that McLousy, deserves playing on 1st >Spooner does. At least he wreaks some havoc and is always engaged. Can't say the same for Spoons.Spooner replacing Buch bothers me more than Chytil on the 4th line

You'd be surprised.Weird...I only started them about 48 hours ago.
Exactly what I said last GDT. Rushing Chytil onto the 1st/2nd line wouldn’t be good to his development. I think Quinn’s just easing him in and letting him learn to do more on his own/letting him work on his all around game. Quinn knows Chytil is goodOne more "possible perspective" in regard to Chytil. Is it possible, in any way that coach is concentrating on improving Chytil's defensive play at center, playing on a 4th line with "less talented" wingers? Once upon a time, I know for a fact Hayes, was subjected to 4th line duties, and look where he is now. A much more established 200 ft player. Even Zbad, I could almost swear he was on 4th line, and rather obscure in a 4th center role when with Ottawa......and ALWAYS scored against us or did some damage. Why do I know that? Because I remember wishing he were on the Rangers.....way back when.
So, once again I ask.......isnt this at all possible?

A 4th round pick making the nhl in his D+2 year would be really impressive. But Chytil has played better then 4th line minuets its ridiculousIf Chytil was drafted in the 4th round nobody would care what his minutes were. Let him feel his way into the league, who knows maybe he is comfortable doing this for now. He will work his way up the lineup as the year goes on, or he will end up in Hartford, either way they are working with him and he is getting NHL coaching when he is a t practice so that's a benefit.
Nah dude, DQ is thick as a brick.![]()

But didnt gorton say he sent down Andersson so he wouldnt be stucking playing 4th line minuets? What different with ChytilChytil will get more opportunities once he starts to produce even a bit more against other teams bottom lines. He’s being protected - a teenager playing in the NHL.
hopefully he doesn't make Staal look like a beer leaguer.Looking forward to seeing Pettersson play, he’s a treat every game.
It was a lie then. But didnt gorton say he sent down Andersson so he wouldnt be stucking playing 4th line minuets? What different with Chytil
