Zip is going on the FAN at 12:20 to discuss Rangers and Nash

“@NewsdaySports: Today's @stevezipay media blitz continues . . He's on @WFAN660 talking #NYR and Rick Nash at 12:20 w/ @JoeandEvan”

by the way, any one impressed with Bickel's puck handling ability and ability to skate dolo out of his own zone recently? I think he has improved by leaps and bounds honestly. Yes, even during the Montreal game, he doesn't handle the biscuit like a live grenade anymore. Excited to see him improve even further down the line.

Stu Bickel has got people excited about his play. Wow. I've seen it all.

He's been better though, recently. Still shouldn't make him a NHL regular.

Yes. Honestly this is more what I remember from him from last season.

A loss to the Jets tonight and I start getting really worried about this season.

I've missed the last few games... Can't miss tonight. I feel left out with all the talk the last week and a half.

They need to find a groove. I don't think it'll happen now until Nash is back and Richards plays normal.

Just find a win to win, boys.

Zipay just said he thinks Richards came to camp out of shape, and still hasn't regained it, but thinks he will eventually.

You're right, he did not look awful in that game.

In fairness, Stu was actually pretty solid last year. I'm trying to put this as lightly as possible as he was far from a difference maker but he wasn't bad. His pylon move in the Colorado game was terrible though.

I would go with Hagelin Stepan Gaborik, Pyatt Richards Callahan as the top 6, but I'm not Torts so I don't know his rationale behind his line combos, I just see that Callahan and Stepan doesnt work

Nash looking better at morning skate

"I feel better, and it's a positive day for sure when you get back out and skate with the guys," said Nash, who wore a normal blue forwards jersey and not a non-contact one this morning. "I don't know about tonight, obviously I have to talk to the trainers, but it's definitely a good day. After last week and today it'd definitely heading in the right direction which is a big positive."

Rick Nash took part in Tuesday's morning skate, the first time that he has skated with his teammates since the Blueshirts 2-1 victory over the Capitals nine days ago. Nash has missed three games, and did not join the team on its just-completed road trip to Ottawa and Montreal, due an unspecified injury---or injuries. And though he was not sure he could play this evening against the Jets at The Garden, Nash was just thrilled to be skating with his teammates again.

The earliest Nash could play appears to be Thursday at home against Tampa. Asked if he could return soon, he said "I hope so."

Judging by this quote and others, it seems to me that Nash isnt even sure of the extent of the injury he has (Concussion) and hes waiting to be cleared.

He probably had some groin issues creeping back in (which is what he was testing in warmups), maybe dinged up in some other others as well and then the headaches came on. The Rangers probably felt it was best if he just hung em up for a bit to protect their star, and keep everything quiet.

Welcome back Loffen!

Please, just win... and show some heart out there. Good to see Nash is close to coming back, would like to see some good news for McD.

LGR!
