What's the more interesting storyline...

1) How will the Sabres perform under their new coach?
2) Will Kaleta mash Brown from behind in payback?

I vote...2. :handclap:

Really hope to see Grigs with some (relatively) quality minutes. Let him make mistakes.

This game starts a new era for the Sabres.

Let's hope they come out flying and look like a transformed team.

I say the Sabres win soundly.

I fully expect a lackluster effort tomorrow. Not for any other reason that I bet the players on this team will have a hard time wrapping their heads around what happened today. I think it may take a couple games before they settle in and we see what a Lindy Ruff-less team has to offer.

WRONG. These guys are going to play hard and take care of buisness. Change is good, your going to see some guys step up and be the leaders in the locker room.

Fully agreed. I wouldn't be surprised to see us get WAXED tomorrow.

This is a possibility. Let's all hope you are wrong though.

If these guys can't come out like caged animals for a single game against a rival like Toronto, under these circumstances, we're screwed.

This isn't chess. It's hockey. It's not that complicated at the end of the day. A lot of what goes into winning in this league comes down to heart, hustle, and attitude.

Most interesting game of the season?

I say interesting in the sense that I have absolutely no idea what to expect. The Laffs are no laff anymore, and we're pretty much in limbo.

I am however, VERY interested in what happens.

You should. The only real positive I see from Rolston is his ability to work with youngsters.

Probably! I am dying to get this one started. I can't wait to find out what they look like.

Either these guys are going to be transformed, or they aren't. We'll know which it is in 5 minutes.

A guy to keep an eye on will be Foligno. He makes for a good canary in the coal mine.

Ott is another.

I'd like to see Marcus make a Leaf a permanent part of the boards on his first shift.

Anyone remember the last time we were going into a game with a new coach? I was about 2 years old so I have no idea what to expect

Watching to see if Rolston crosses his arms when we go down by that 2nd goal.

lol

In honesty, I will be watching to see if he's active. I'd like to see him talking to guys after every shift.

True, but wasn't he still on a headset from the press box? This is a way bigger change

This.

I think they will play very tentatively, not sure exactly how they're supposed to play yet for the new guy.

This team is not exactly known for mental toughness, so I do not expect some big rally-blowout.

Lose and continue our downward spiral to the bottom to get a top pick.

Hope the new guy doesn't mess with the plan..
