I should have said "first line center opening shift". After that, bit by bit, they looked less and less cohesive as a line. Agreed.Sheahan and that line were actually terrible, fluky goal aside.
CF% —>30%

SCF% -> 18%
HDCF% -> 17%
xGF% -> 18%
Thats a pretty brutal caving in. They were much better with Mitts at center but thats a smaller sample size.
My second thought was "what is he doing trying gaining the o-zone with 3 Devils back and lined up in a "V" without waiting for a Sabre trailer, line change, regroup, etc.?" OT is all about possession and the Sabres wanted little of it (literally).My first thought in OT: "What did VO do tonight to warrant the first shift?"
I can't remember the last time we won in OT that didn't involve Jack in some way we are complete slugs without him in play there as no one comes close to dangerous as him with all that open ice speed kills and we have very little without him.I should have said "first line center opening shift". Skinner talked Jack into a hunger strike until he's freed from the doghouse / pressbox.
Sorry, I don’t buy it. There is something else going one here.

Only line/ players with a positive xGF% was Mitts/Lazar/Tage. So obviously move Mitts up to center first line. Have him play well, draw s penalty and then sit him for the rest of the game after we tie it on the PP. Makes perfect sense.
No way KA and Pegulas fire Ralph this season correct?
Correct. That’s why I’m depressed. We’re probably looking at during next season at the earliest.No way KA and Pegulas fire Ralph this season correct?
He has but also has built in excuses (Covid/injuries) to survive this yearRalph would really need to screw up for him to get fired.
I doubt it. Krueger clearly sat Cozens/Mitts as adjustments to play it “safe” for a pointAny chance he was injured? Mitts did take a stick to the face and a stick to his hand. If not Krueger is out to lunch.
I’m not. Ralph has lost credibility with injury reports.Eichel was injured during warm ups, and it had nothing to do with the reason why he missed the morning practice?
Is anyone buying this ?
Psychological injury? Let me guess he lost his confidence. Ralph will cure him.Eichel was injured during warm ups, and it had nothing to do with the reason why he missed the morning practice?

We continue to be the laughing stock of the league.
Wasn’t Southampton not even that good at soccer?
