Thats a pretty brutal caving in. They were much better with Mitts at center but thats a smaller sample size.

I should have said "first line center opening shift". After that, bit by bit, they looked less and less cohesive as a line. Agreed.

My first thought in OT: "What did VO do tonight to warrant the first shift?"

My second thought was "what is he doing trying gaining the o-zone with 3 Devils back and lined up in a "V" without waiting for a Sabre trailer, line change, regroup, etc.?" OT is all about possession and the Sabres wanted little of it (literally).

I can't remember the last time we won in OT that didn't involve Jack in some way we are complete slugs without him in play there as no one comes close to dangerous as him with all that open ice speed kills and we have very little without him.

I doubt it. Krueger clearly sat Cozens/Mitts as adjustments to play it “safe” for a point

The only hope I cling to is Krueger isn’t Adam’s hire and the Pegulas hired Adams because they trust him. So if he says he needs to go it would get traction. Whether he thinks that is another matter

plus there is the money math. I don’t think a 4mil coach is making the owners happy ruining guy they agreed to pay 9mil a year.
