It's nice to have a powerplay that can operate at a pace north of one percent.

In previous seasons our PP converted at an abysmal rate and that conversion rate probably understated its degree of awfulness because it consistent pissed momentum away.
 
DZ and Richards on the points usually doesn't work out so well... too much patty cake with the puck and of course the inevitable shot wide.
 
Even when we miss, we get chances. It feels like we make a dent.

Building momentum on the PP is also a good thing when you don't score. Our PP in recent years just didn't build momentum because we were just dumping the puck
