we are rightfully concern about Petts, POJ's and Maths turnovers, but most of them come on that first short pass that if it works gives you such an advantage and allow afor fast counterattack, they made a ton of those but of course coughed up few that turned out costly...

Blabber about “dominating” all you want...

I don't care what word you use.

This is a flawed roster. There's work to be done by Hextall regardless.

BUT, with the Sid, Geno, and Letang I'm watching tonight, the only way they're one and done is if the GM or coach drops the ball.

We dominate them. Not transforming to the scoresheet is unfortunate but we were dominated by the Isles the last game and won it. Very solid game this time so far. Big 3rd incoming. Caps really don´t deserve to be in this game.

POJ has been evidently struggling for a few games now. Wonder when he gets benched for us trying to win.

It's weird.

Letang is playing so well right now that I'm loathe to **** with it.

MAYBE when Dumo comes back, you slide POJ with Ceci?

BUT . . . if POJ is sitting and Pets is playing (instead of leveraged into an upgrade . . . or maybe Dumo is leveraged), then they're doing it wrong.

AT LEAST on the PP. I wonder if Sid is vetoing that move as well?

I agree with Zucker on PP1.

But at ES both L1 and L2 have been awesome tonight and are destroying the Caps. Matheson and POJ basically gifted the caps their goals. That + the cosmic rule that Conor Sheary shalt always score against the Penguins.

To the person that said Lafferty could be the Pens' Wilson.

Yes, but only if Laff adds like 20 pounds of muscle, still moves like that, and stops being a dingus with his turnovers. We like to paint Wilson as a dumb oaf, but his turnovers aren't nearly as bad as Laff's.

And Wilson is way more talented.

This one is significant progress.

Malkin and the team approach to defending as 5 man units.

I want them to win, of course, but this is a big step forward.

I've given up on good things translating to the scoresheet at this point. Just looking at conversion rate/decision making on high danger chances. We've sucked in that regard and are therefore tied.

I suspect the L2 placement on this chart is due more to two breakdowns by defensemen leading to goals than an accurate reflection of their play.

The charts are expected results so the 2 scoring chances for and 9 against would be the big killer (high danger 1 for, 3 against).
