Is there such thing as giving a good goalie some credit? This team does need to finish but it's as if there's a piece of wood guarding the opposing crease. Bob is having a hell of a game and making acrobatic saves. Give it a rest.

Yes, yes, give the other goalie credit. The Rangers aren't good at finishing and it's a problem.

Rangers should be winning this game 10-2. They have had at least a dozen high quality scoring chances. Bobrovsky has been great. Just tip your cap to him.

Columbus is a very aggressive team and the Rangers are handling it fine. I'm actually enjoying this game.

The ice is just terrible though.

All things considered that was an excellent period. I don't remember see the Rangers pass and skate like this ever. The PP looks like it's a different league from Torts'.

Yeah it's accurate (and he releases it quickly), but especially when he gets in close he seems to have problems getting any power on it.

Don't think anyone ever said he had to score every game either...
sometimes you have to give credit to teh goalie. he nearly had a goal but the goalie made a great save. You dont have to worry about kreider's goals those will come. he has probably been one of the bets players since being called up and is teh biggest reason stepan and zucc ahve come alive

No but people always need to question someone even when they're playing great. He hasn't played a full season and I'm very impressed by his all around game honestly

Agreed, and I assume that his shot will improve at least slightly just with him becoming more comfortable in the league. My question is, was his shot a weapon at the lower levels?

In no way is it a criticism of Kreider, it's simply trying to find out more about a young player.

The one real complaint I have is we seem to not be able to win a faceoff.

Id take Dubi back in a heartbeat. Still love that kid. I think it has to do with watching him mature and grow into the player he is, but I have a big soft spot for Dubi.

Why no one upset about Pyatt getting hurt?

I texted my friend about 30 second before he got hurt:

"I want to see a good o'l fashion Toots hipcheck on Pyatt"

Then Tyutin went and elbowed him in the face and knocked him out of the game.

I said Hip check toots, not elbow!!!

Agreed. Him or anisimov as our 3c would be nice putting Richards on the wing . That's in a dream world though lol
