It's really frustrating having to watch guys like Smith and Lemieux out there in the dying seconds of a game.

Lack of depth established by the front office. People want to cut them slack. They walked into three top-1o picks, two in the top-2 and both looked clueless here for two years. They will ruin both of them if they don't be careful. This coach needs to go. Gallant and Julien out there and we are keeping this @$$hole.

But this guy is a 50-55 pt guy. He’s a valuable piece, but he isn’t a 1st line guy, or this otherworldly skilled guy. Solid player. Fantastic value as a 3rd round pick.

Lemieux, Howden, Brodzinsky, Hajek, potentially Gautier (haven’t seen him enough) are 100% not NHL players

I'll give you Brodzinski and probably Gauthier. Lemieux and Howden are probably fine on the fourth line getting a handful of minutes and killing penalties. Hajek looks like a spare. The problem is a game like tonight, they're overexposed, asked to do too much, and they look terrible.

Another 1 goal game where we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times. How many times have the other actually Won the game (as in were outright better and deserved to win). Maybe 2-3 games? You can say young teams need to learn how to win close games. I argue that dumb teams can't win close games. Too many low IQ guys that just never seem to get it.
