I feel like this place was really into controlling the users when it used to be a younger demographic and this was a 'family friendly' oriented place, but i think in the age of apps and smart phones, "kids today" don't bother with message boards.

Here's the thing maybe some oversight is necessary but we're doing right now would get infracted as "moderator abuse". I think the were guidelines from the top but also some power trips going on. Lot of people hammered Fast for not scoring a lot more with Panarin. It's looking like Kakko (yes I know hes super young still) won't do much better. One difference is Fast did all the grunt work for that line. I'm not sure I want Kakko doing that but what choice do we have right now I guess

It's like the universe is correcting last year's insanely high shooting percentage. So to get back to normal, we have to have an insanely low percentage.

Agree dude. The whole point of this season was seeing the young dudes start taking the reigns. Instead, they’ve all shown they may not be the players we hoped they were.

It sucks. The only two guys that looked like they elevated their games were Miller and Chytil. Both are hurt. And who knows with Chytil, it could have been a couple game hit streak and nothing sustainable.

I'd like to know what our shooting % is in high quality areas.

Doesn't Vally always say its around 30% ( 30% league average)? It's hard to remember slot chances on this team since they are so limited

I feel like if things continue to go this way Mika is going to set some record for biggest shooting percentage differential from one season to the next. Right now it's 19.7% to 2.3%, which is a dropoff of 88%.

That right there --- we get a damn breakaway and we can't score.

It's not just the lower percentage shots. Nothing is going in. Hell, Kakko's five-hole opportunity. Nothing to show for it.

I get the frustrations and anger right now. I truly do.

But also somewhere in the mix, I find myself looking at the screen shaking my head and saying, "How does THAT not go in at least?"
