What should I pick up to make life fun? Sure as hell won't be Angels baseball that adds any excitement to my life
Obviously you need to take up pickle ball. Or I guess thats a jalepeno on your avatar so my joke doesnt really work lol.

Radko said in the post game interview they had changed the system? Any idea what it was changed too?

He also said it would take time to get used to it. Yikes.

To have to change your system so early in the season shows a lack of understanding of your team and what would make it successful. He had all summer; it's inexcusable. A good coach is realistic about their team and figures out a plan to get the best out of what they have. Another clear sign that Cronin is in over his head.

I'm curious about what the changes specifically are and where those ideas came from?

Agreed. To take close to 20 games to realize the “system” you implemented doesn’t work with your roster after having all summer to develop it shows ineptitude.

Not sure what changes were made because Radko wasn’t specific.

Yikes.. At this point PV is telling Cronin to fix it.. PV is trying to save his own ass.. Cronin is an AHL coach who should not be here. Period!! PV needs to own up to this and admit he made a f***ing mistake.. Hes a hard head and its f***ing up our youth..

Hopefully that gets Vatrano (which Apple just autocorrected to “cats rain”) gets the confidence bother needs from that.
I’m tired and read it as Vatrano was autocorrected to cats rain…. Which i was gunna suggest we just meet in the middle of cat rain and dog shit(his play this year ) and call Vatrano cat piss for now

Let's not forget-I never ever will-that Cronin intentionally stopped coaching last year to sit back, observe, and try to learn what his players needed from him. So it stretches back farther than close to 20 games this year. This dude has not shown that it was worth it. The kids are not showing meaningful progress which is the worst part, and to spend the last 5 or so games throwing the lines in a blender and have two veterans tell the world "we never know where our linemates are" and now have the captain say there's been a systems revamp with no one able to discern what the change was...it should be obvious to everyone that Cronin has no f***ing idea what he's doing.

Seriously who has gotten better during the calendar year of 2024...nobody should spend any money going to games they are completely ruining this rebuild because they can't get the f***ing coach right
I hated seeing Ponda as empty as it was last night but realistically, this might be the only thing that gets the Samueli's and Verbeek to wake the f*** up and make a necessary change.

I wouldn't trust Cronin to coach the Gulls at this point so AHL coach might be a stretch.

Yeah, not sure who is even going to these games outside of maybe some casual fans looking for something to do, or people getting free tickets from work or something.

I'm pretty much as diehard as they come, but this team is so dull and lifeless that mustering up the energy with my five year old to sit in traffic and watch these plugs is never going to happen.

It really is something to build a team that is bottom of the barrel in every statistic imaginable. Offense, defense, special teams, PK, are all completely awful. We'd have sub 10 points right now if it wasn't for Dostal playing out of his mind.

Nothing against Leason. But him putting up 2 points really irks me when our potential future 1C was robbed of several points last night, hitting a post after a great play, and because his line-mates are f'ing boneheads.

It's just really frustrating seeing other kids around the league produce, and we have to defend our kids because the coach and system is not good.

You forgot the Murray/Eakins combo.

Why have we been scratching Leason?

I noticed they finally removed Vatrano from the wing on the PP and into the bumper. He isn't ideal for that either IMO but it's better than destroying plays on the halfwall. I can't remember a player who has dropped off as much as he has YoY, it's remarkable.

Cronin doesn't know how to coach offense, it does feel like we've been getting unlucky with a lot of posts, but it still feels like we can't sustain pressure consistently. It's not all on him tho, our guys lose a lot of battles and still make poor passes way too often.

I find it odd that our 4th line guys have pretty much looked good from game 1 while everyone else is struggling - starting to think it's not a coincidence.

Wife and I have talked about trying to find some cheaper tickets on Gametime just to get out and do something. When we first checked prices it was $75 for nose bleeds which is ridiculous even for a good team. Gametime seems to at least get you in the bleeds for 2013 prices ($20-$30).

Even then, with as bad as they are, not sure we will be going at all.

they need to lower ticket prices

$50 tickets for upper deck tickets at center ice and $30+ upper deck behind the goals is f***ing absurd
