In what way is McAvoy like Krug??

He is an offense first player with questions on the defensive end?

Big difference I think is Krug's hockey sense is exceptionally high, not so convinced on McAvoy.


For me this was a bit like DeBrusk last year in that he was the one realistic candidate I didn't want at this pick. I hope I am wrong, and McAvoy becomes a legit #1 at the NHL level.

Great pick - told my buddy that I wanted Fabbro, McAvoy or Chychrun. Wasn't disappointed.

He was my last choice of that lot for me. Really really wanted Fabbro. I'll trust the B's brass knowledge over my own.

I`ve only watched him play on TV I think 4 times, tuned in to watch Grizz and this kid did something each shift to make me sit up and take notice.
