As a Penguins fan I've been dreading the next like 15+ years ever since the Flyers drafted that kid and this season has only reinforced that terror.

But then I keep forgetting that Torts coaches there for some reason.

Hopefully you guys' FO is smarter than the dim bulbs the Penguins hired and fire your doofus coach ASAP. Or don't... that would be way better for us.

Honestly Torts has been checked out for quite some time. All of this doesn't even reflect in him anymore, but it makes Briere Jones duo look like even bigger fools. At the end of the day it's their legacy that's being flushed down the toilet and rightfully so.

I'm biased here so what do I know, but I am pretty sure hockey in general is better off with a relevant Flyers and their traditional stream of rivalries.

The Flyers haven't had any rivals for a decade except their own management. Bob Clarke and his circle are our biggest rivals now. No game the Flyers have been involved in with the Pens, Caps, Rangers, etc has mattered in years.

It's like how Detroit and Montreal being irrelevant is fun to a degree, sure, but at the end of the day everything with the league is way less spicy than when they mattered.

I couldn't say with any level of authority as I'm not familiar enough with how your FO operates. But I will say that Clarke should have been gone years ago and that Torts was the exact wrong kind of hire to make for a rebuilding team. Or really any team.

No I totally agree. A healthy and relevant Flyers organization is best for hockey and best for rivalries... which are fun. It's not like I WANT to go back to you guys running the Penguins over every game for like 20 years straight or whatever but I DEFINITELY miss the Crosby/Giroux days etc.

Anyhow again... I didn't mean to intrude. Best of luck you guys and f*** Torts... dude is the worst and has always been the worst. I always liked HFFlyers fans, though
