I wonder if that's their thinking as far as playing Del Zotto on the right side. He had a nice shot in the first period from the circles, and he had the goal from the same general area. He has more net to shoot at as a left hander at the right circle, but it just takes so much away from his passing game and his ability to stick handle at the point.

If he were a shoot-first kind of defender, it might make sense, but him on the right side just seems to take away some of his strengths to play to his weaknesses.

I really wish one of the reporters would ask AV about his thinking on that.

3) He needs to be point blank to limit any potential deviation the shot can have after 2 feet.

I'm starting to think that McD is pushing for a letter when Richards is bought out. I have zero doubt that McD had a "conversation" with Perry about the hit on Stepan earlier.
