He had a glowing article written about him recently by Vince M. Basics gist was that he got hired by Sather on a whim and basically he flown under the radar ever since, being one of two coaches to stick around after firings to Torts, AV and Quinn (Benny being the other obviously).

Don't see him getting a 1st though.

Nor do I see this team selling because Igor doing cartwheels all year will convince them they have a chance.

Think the question will come of why self rent strome in this season. They won't fire sale or anything, but self renting strome makes little sense. If he is here after the deadline it scares me to hell that they may resign him. Who knows though.

He needs to marinate a bit, he will have a pretty good NHL career though. Almost no doubt. Better than Del Zotto's

Trouba has been really good all season. Excellent defensively and he’s deserved more points on offense with how strong he’s been. He’s been excellent at activating in the offensive zone and his breakout first pass is underrated.

He’s gotta get Lafreniere more ice time. This kid is not gonna progress playing 10 minutes on the third line. Get him a couple shifts with the first 2 lines.

Well here in Sweden we almost never get the MSG feed this year so haven't heard any of Sam shenanigans lately... maby is a good thing. No Hank either

After 30+ years of listening to Sam, it’s just funny at this point and the beautiful man can call our games as long as he wants to.

I felt the same about John Amirante. The older he got the more his voice started cracking but it was all good.

It's why this team will make the playoffs even playing wide open pond hockey. The talent gap is just too much at the end of the day for teams like CBJ to keep up. I mean Torts left the Blue Jackets torched to a crisp, but Jarmo did a fantastic job getting young talent in. They are still at the start of a grueling rebuild even if they look passable with lots of swift skaters.
