Most overrated player in many years with this fan base.
People go ape shit when they hear the name ‘Pavel Buchnevich’ How could a dude with a sexy Russian hockey name like that NOT be amazing? Lol

Maybe, I'd need to see the replay again.
My first impression was that he was reaching to try to stick check Skinner, but got beaten to the inside and ended up low-bridging himself.

Yup. There is no one who can create offense on their own on this roster, hard to play exciting hockey when that's the case.

I think game-to-game the AV team after the selloff was more fun to watch (John Gilmour! Ryan Spooner point streak!) but this is just a bad roster, especially when players like Kreider and even Buchnevich aren't going. I mean, put a brand new first line on top of these guys, move people down and we're still what, the Flyers? The Jackets?
That was one of the worst periods we’ve played this season. Awful

That's just silly. Consistent 50-60 point player since 13-14 who drives possession and xG. He's deserved all the praise he's gotten since he's been here. You just have an irrational hatred for the guy for some reason.
Zucc is who he is and has also been on this team for years and has produced. This fan base expects Buchnevich to be our Russian sniper stud, but he’s a weak, overrated hack.

I think that speaks more to the quality of our roster than anything else.
Plus that doesn't mean that hes been a bad player, but there are a group of people here who think hes an untouchable player and wouldn't move him for McDavid.
Ergo the overratedness.

I know the team is spectacularly untalented but idk look at Ottawa they suck but at least generate offense. This team sucks and is boring to watch . I thought Quinn was brought in to be a “developmental coach”? Looks like he’s just doing that same tired play not to lose type hockey , relying on Hank to to keep us in the game, playing our best prospect on the 4th line with ECHL talent McLeod... I’m not buying so far
Well... Zucc stepped up, but is probably not the one we would want to do so.. Smith stepped up, and was thrown in the penalty box for roughing. At the rate this is going, i imagine the next guy that steps up gets ejected from the game or something like that
As much as I dislike Smith, I don't have a problem with his penalty.
What I do want to see is him answering back and knocking some people on their ass..
