Ottawa is/has always been one of my least favorite teams and I've never watched them but safe to assume that wasn't about the NYR version of Redden then.

I watched more than half of Ottawa’s games from 2001 through 2004 and the way Martin developed players, especially defensively, was phenomenal. Redden was a top-tier defenseman under Martin. He carried Chara for two of those years.
