Pool: 13th Annual C4G WJC Hockey Pool - Draft Complete

You had the chance to take him. Would have made my decision easier as I was 50/50 between him and another guy. The reception I'm getting is making me think I made the right choice :laugh:
 
Well I thought the back-to-back picks upcoming would've been more likely to take him if they didn't already have 3 defenders. So I thought that was the best course of action.

Clearly, I don't have you figured out yet. Soon, though, for sure. I'll have to become an even more elite detective, I guess.

you thought wrong because I need a dman and would've taken him lol


I'll go with Vojtech Port and hope he falls into some points on a strong Czech team then from the greatest country in the world, not run by a little girl(unlike Canada atm) I'll go with Vladimir Nikitin

Proud to select - from Team Slovakia - defenseman Jakub Chromiak.

In case I'm not around once we finish the draft tomorrow. The replacement order is Khabby up first to replace Sennecke, then Landy to replace Wood. First come first serve after that. I don't know of any other cuts as of now

Not sure if this guy is just going to get cut, but... Logan Hensler. Or maybe they keep Hensler and cut my earlier pick, Cole Hutson. Can't tell you how many times the American coaches have burned my D picks. :laugh:
 
and with that we're done. Any additional cuts or injuries can be replaced up to the start of the tournament as long as there's verification that the player will not be rostered. I'll try to check the rosters prior to the tournament starting to make sure everyone picked has been rostered.

An interesting wrinkle this year is that guys will find themselves on the roster, but as a healthy scratch. It's tough enough when your pick is the 13th forward, but a healthy scratch will be brutal. Considering how many Canadian players got taken, it is going to absolutely be a factor in this pool.
