You can tell that the Pens had this game circled since June, and came to play.

Not because they lost, but because the Bruins were huge dicks going after Crosby's broken jaw. The Pens came out with a huge chip on their shoulders and actually looked interested, something I could not say about the prior four games, including the win against the Canes.

Great physical hockey. I still like Boston's BRAND of hockey better, but I LOVE the support and fight of the Pens tonight. Not collapsing.

I wish we simplified the game a little more. Crash the net like B's do.

Man's game tonight, Cole. Borts has made his bones tonight. Maatta still won't wilt. Guys like Gladams have been huge. Megna needs to stay attached to Geno's hip until he proves otherwise. And, speaking of which, Geno + Sutter = (I don't care about dominating Carolina . . . THIS game is what I care about, when you want to see these two stepping up).
