[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I feel good, I feel strong. It was good to get back in the mix.
- Derek Stepan

We are getting more and more consistent with the way we play game to game but it’s a constant battle to push yourself and the entire team to try to be there every night.
But I feel like the last few games we are playing hard, we have a lot of energy.
When you have that, you are going to have a good opportunity to get points every night.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Yeah, he’s probably the happiest person around our surroundings today. He’s been away from this for a long time, he’s worked extremely hard.
He’s good to guy so he’s going to play tomorrow. I don’t know if relief is the right word.
Step is obviously a big part of our team. He’s a good young player that’s assuming more leadership in our dressing room so not having him was obviously a challenge for our group.
- Alain Vigneault

Need to win this one. Need to put some distance in the standing between where we are now and the .500 mark.

Good to have Derek Stepan back. Boyle and John Moore back next week. Our defense and pwp should get better.

Ugh! Get Glass off that line with Hayes and Duclair that otherwise might be able to provide some offense. Malone isn't more useful here? I mean, does someone necessarily have to fight Clarkson?

Anyhoo... The Leafs are one of those teams that gets periodically lit up. We've done it to them several times in the past few years, and they are more than due for a patented home ice Leaf meltdown. They have coming off a West Coast trip and the Rangers have been putting it together piece by piece recently.

6-1 Rangers.

Nash, Stepan, St. Louis, Brassard, Girardi, Zuccarello

The Toronto bottom 6 is nothing to write home about. But then again so is our 4-6 defenseman LOL.

I feel good about this one mainly because I feel good about the way this team is playing. Like Henrik states above the consistency is coming and their game/identity is coming together. They are an exciting group to watch. Would love it if Kreider gets up for this game. Plays more intense and bangs Phaneuf around.

Friendly reminder for anyone trying to find the right channel in this MSG/MSGPlus/MSG2 cluster**** of channels.

MSG2 is on channel 326 and 327 on Time Warner Cable (in queens at least) They both seem to be the same thing other than one is listed as MSG2HD and the other is MSGPLHD.

Would love to get 4 pts here then get moore and boyle back if possible for a big game at the garden against Pitt. Don't want to let them runaway with the division

MSG2 and MSG+2 are different channels, but seems both will show tonight's game

RE Comcast

Seems tonight's game @TML is on Both MSG2 and MSG+2,
so WILL be available in HD on Comcast.

On Comcast, at least in NJ,
MSG2 is at 709 but not in HD
MSG is at 63, 846(HD) and 707
MSG+ is at 99, 845(HD) and 708
MSG+2 is at 710, 842(HD)

I guess MSG+2 is better presented than MSG2 because both NYI and NJD are primarily MSG+ content

Typically, if Knicks, NJD, NYI, and NYR overlap, (especially if Knicks are home or NYR are away) it's the Rangers that are on MSG2 and NO HD on Comcast

I've observed recently that our issues at 4th line won't go away over the night..
T. Glass is at (-7) in 12 matches with 0 pts. - what is AV seeing in this player with so many promising youths? Pengs staff saw something that our scouts didn't in that Glass trade.
We don't have a solid 4th line this year with good chemistry, and I'm worried about it since AV usually give our 4th line a lot of ice time.

Anyway, we need a solid 60 min. Ranger game tonight and a victory! :)
LGR! ))
