I don’t know how after a game like this this front office can be happy with what they’ve put on the ice. They’re probably more like 4-5 years away than 2-3. Teams have skill. Most teams in hockey do. You can’t be a gutless, soft team that doesn’t stick up for yourself or one another and win 16 games en route to a cup. You have to be able to play any type of way and battle and not be denied. Too many guys on this team that can’t play this rugged, playoff style game. Isles shut them out, Bruins will be blanking them tonight, possibly, and they shut the NYR down for the most part last game, too. People will say “theyre both good teams.” Right, but the way the NYI and BOS play is exactly how you have to play lol. Unreal.

In the first 25 minutes of the game, Lafreniere-Strome-Kakko were only on the ice for a single shot attempt against.

Kreider this is the game where you should be all over the place throwing that 6'3 225 lbs around....instead its Buchnevich throwing the knuckles and answering Marchand last game.

This is on Gorts. JD and Gorts recognized this team needed grit and did nada to address it.
