The thing that’s so impressive about this kid is that he had the type of freshman season he did as a 17-year old. It’s a level of maturity that every generational player has demonstrated. Not that he’s going to be a generational defenseman, but he does share that common trait.

He’s not an early bloomer that dominated smaller competition, he challenges himself and plays above his peers. I think he’s somebody fully capable of coming in and making an immediate impact on this team. Put him in and give him the opportunity to continue to do what he’s done the past two years.

Doubt it. Hynes has to talk to media way more and as such is more guarded. I also think part of it is their respective personalities. Be shocked if he doesn’t play. Unless it comes out that hit he took last week was worse than anticipated

Practice was very optional today, so not sure how many guys Buium was able to skate with.....Middleton and Fleury were there.
