G7 was the only game Boldy would have had a chance to play. Making your NHL debut in a G7 of the Playoffs is a big ask for anyone. I don;t blame the coach for not playing him in this instance.

Parise was in the pressbox because MarJo's name was written in ink on the lineup card for the first part of that series. MarJo got hurt and Parise draws in for G4.

Boldy should have gotten a couple games at the end of the season to get his feet wet. Just to see if he could hang at the NHL level, and get the first game jitters out of his system. This is on the GM for not giving him that chance.
