Oh you're right, I just got caught in the moment. But Buium is just doing so amazingly as the lone defenseman whos scoring just as much.
I agree that he should win it though

Buium might crash and burn at the NHL level, who knows.
Forwards will be better next year. Adding Yurov, $7M UFA, Ohgren and Kap/JEE.I will say that Buium is coming into a pretty good setup. He will be playing on a team that has a need for a PP Dman, and will be surrounded by solid defensive Dmen as potential partners(Spurgeon, Faber). He has guys like Brodin to look to(again for defensive play), and a Star forward(Kap) to play with on the PP.
There will be no expectation for him to 'carry' the team, so he can be brought in slowly, as he adjusts to the league.
I have few worries about the D, going forward. If only i could say the same about the forwards.
#18 just found himself on my list
Yeah, but it sounds like he's still struggling a bit. That would just be our luck. He's back on the ice now
I guess the question is would Hynes let Buium play? Wasn't it Boldy who was held out? But that was Evason, right?I'm torn

Middleton is on the road trip, so he may be back.Yeah Boldy was held out by Evason, Evason also played Faber.
I think he'd let Buium play at least one regular season game, especially with Middleton out.
But ultimately as much as I wanna see Buium on the Wild asap, he's also our guy and I want him to have success when he plays, which means winning with Denver.
