Prospect Info: #129 Arseny Gritsyuk RW

Older posters will remember DevilsSwede on here but he just said on Twitter that Gritsyuk signed as well, I wonder if he has any sources still in the front office since the Lou days but the Gritsyuk IG post above my post from @Guadana probably validates the tweet as well.
I used to wait patiently during the offseason and TDL for him to spill the tea back in the day

Arseniy says "thank you, St Petersburg, and goodbye".

I know it's unlikely given how small the line would be (not that Gritsyuk is tiny) but from the footage I have watched I feel like Grits on a line with Hughes and Bratt next season could be incredibly productive.

You almost have to try this line out since the "Shrimp & Grits" is a great name, though not sure how much Jack and Bratt would appreciate it.

Nikishin looks to be the more talented player but it’s much harder to integrate new defenseman than it is new forwards; so even if they both came now there would be some hope the Devils benefit more in round 1.
they have the 22nd ranked power play so even if he does nothing else but helps them there that would have an outsized influence on the series

I still think he comes. Dude said goodbye to SKA on Instagram this morning... over a month and a half before his contract expires.

Sounds like he may want to but SKA could be playing hardball.

How does it work with players getting out of their contracts early - is it possible that SKA is just looking for a payout from the NHL clubs in order to release these players?

So with Russia I always assume there's a cash grab involved with some light extortion.

I think and correct me if I'm wrong... it's up to the players themselves to buy out their own contracts.

From what I could find on the Googles, Grits made $100,000-$160,000 USD this season. How much could it possibly cost for him to but out a month and a half?

Isn't SKA playing crazy hardball with Demidov too? I thought I saw they sent him to an affiliate to keep playing.
