Prospect Info: #129 Arseny Gritsyuk RW

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. Is there a rule about Gritsyuk (or Hameenaho but I sorta doubt that one) needing to play a couple of games with the big club to be playoff eligible? Or once he comes over, he's over?

Don't be sorry. I routinely ask stupid questions without apology.

He, and anyone on the Devils' reserve list, can sign prior to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final and play that game.

If there's any chance we could delay the ELC to next year I'd rather he not even come over this year. This is a lost cause. If it's going to get burned anyway then fine get him some reps and a bit adjusted here.

That’s my basic thought. The cap will be a bit tight next year unless they can find someone to take Palat at full price. They can use the one year of ELC.

Grits throws one on net from the point and it’s deflected in. Zykov with deflection goals on back to back shifts. SKA up 2-1 halfway through the game
