I like the pick at this stage of the draft, good flyer to take. These were Pronman's thoughts on him back in May (didn't have him in his 107 top prospects, but someone asked about him in the comments):
I like his hockey sense and compete level a lot. Appreciate he can score goals. Don't think his speed or skill are anything noteworthy. Know some scouts who like the kid a lot.

Seems like a solid pick at this spot. Good size, production, and age (not a D+1). Who knows if he works out but has the profile of a potential good pick. Like Podz, Hoglander, and this pick. Rest of the draft is a mystery box but owing to a lack of picks in the top 100, it’s probably going to be a black hole.
