Aron Kiviharju Scouting Report: 2024 NHL Draft #24
Aron Kiviharju is a player to watch at the NHL draft. In many ways, he might be the biggest boom-or-bust prospect in the draft.

Naw he can develop(or not) over in Europe for a while till we see what we have in Hunt, ROR, Peart, and Pionk.Huh another lefty. I feel like someone is on their way out
Lambos, Buium, Middleton, Brodin...Naw he can develop(or not) over in Europe for a while till we see what we have in Hunt, ROR, Peart, and Pionk.
Yup, at first he should figure it out in Finland after injuries and then give him a real chance if he did.Naw he can develop(or not) over in Europe for a while till we see what we have in Hunt, ROR, Peart, and Pionk.
More info, please.Absolute highway robbery in 4th round. Injuries, yeah, but he good yo. At this point we're risking very little for excellent reward.
Good thing we have Ness, who's a magician with helping with player skatingHe was giga promising few years ago. So smooth, skilled and smart. But he's had injury issues, and also it seems like he hasn't been able to improve his skating and he didn't grow. So small, slow + injuries really tanked him.
If he could somehow massively improve his skating, he could become Spurgeon-like.
The Puhis endorsement does not shock me.As a stylistic comparison to Kiviharju, a lot of the skillset is similar to that of Jared Spurgeon. Both are undersized players with great hands, vision and a fantastic IQ. Moving the puck around smartly, without having elite skating. If Kiviharju can emulate the Minnesota Wild captain, while staying healthy, he would be a fantastic pick. However, it’s a pick with a lot of “ifs” attached.
We didn’t learn our lesson with midget defenders obviously.
I can, thanks!U-18 Scouting Report: Aron Kiviharju - Video - TSN

I don't see this as an issue 3-4 years from now, because it will take at least that long for this kid to even challenge for a spot (assuming he even does)Lambos, Buium, Middleton, Brodin...
