40 yrs ago, a city bombed a house, and let the neighborhood burn. The mayor not only didn't have to step down, he was relected.

60 houses burned. 11 people died. 5 or 6 of them kids. What an f-up. There’s no doubt that the neighborhood wanted MOVE out of there, but dropping a bomb in a residential area was insane. That there weren’t any repercussions for Goode just illustrates for me that, in a lot of ways, not much has changed in 40 years

crazy, right. BTW, it wasn’t mayor Rizzo, it was mayor Wilson Goode that authorized the bombing. I edited my initial post to fix my mistake.

Looks like Michkov was in a car accident while on vacation in Dubai. According to Jordan Hall he wasn't driving and he wasn't injured. Dubai? Why would you vacation to Dubai? Is this something Russians do? What's the attraction? Can't imagine it's a great place to party. Aren't there pretty strict alcohol laws and restrictions on how women dress and behave in public there?
