I week from Saturday we will be on a plane headed for Seattle for our Alaskan cruise. Getting away from the shit show in this country for a week is going to be great.

We are, somehow, on our third straight week of sunny weather with almost no rain, which is unheard of here during the month of April. Or May.
Temps mostly in the upper 60's with some days hitting 80F. And the the ten-day forecast appears to continue the trend. Unreal spring conditions for those of us who dwell west of the Cascades. Should be a pleasant cruise for you.

@VladDrag jumped on the Bethpage website for the heck of it and came across this...I'm flying out to Detroit on Tuesday so I wouldn't have been able to do it. Saving grace in not being so upset is the weather looks like crap for Tuesday

I think that might be a retirement goal trip in 26.or 27.
we talked about going to Yellowstone after we retire for our next vacation trip. That is probably going to be expensive. After the cruise we are going to Oregon to visit my brother likely one last time. He has terminal bladder cancer.
Also going to Bandon to visit my wifes birth mother. Will be back home Memorial Day weekend.

Sorry about the Bro! Yellowstone takes a few days to see, but is nice. My favorite parks are Bryce, Arches and Yosemite. Access is tougher now than in the 90s when we went, but amazing places all.
