The wife won the grand prize door entrance prize at a handbag bingo. One of the items was a kindle paper white. Being the amazing woman she is, she gave the kindle to me.

I just email my kindle the epub(from humble bundle books. No idea where else I would get those) and it transfers the book over.

Ok, so technically it doesn’t do that. It converts it to their proprietary format instead and then moves that over. Basically, they can just take your books away anytime they want. Jailbreak it and it’s stored locally.
