So one weekend I was bored and decided to see what a 12 team playoff could’ve looked like from 2014-2023. Mainly because I’ll swear to this day that if there was an expanded playoff Ohio State would’ve won B2B titles in 14-15. So with that here’s what a 12 team playoff would’ve looked like under the current rules of the top 4 seeds being conference champs and the highest seeded Group of 5 champ. Some years the top 4 will look different due to the rule of conference champs getting the bye.
