I think a new coach has to be coming soon. The Flyers certainly don’t have a high octane offense but right now the whole is way less than the sum of the parts. There are enough individual players with some level of skill so when literally everyone is struggling it’s time to look at the coach. We need to effectively evaluate players and I’m not sure we can do that right now. As it looks today we don’t have any top 6 centers and we have 2 top 4 defensemen of some ability. Get a new coach in there and see how everyone looks in a new system because this one isn’t working or the players have quit

A GM will always stand publicly behind his coach until he’s fired. I find it hard to believe Briere isn’t seriously mulling over Tort’s future. This was a playoff team for most of last year until the wheels completely fell off and they haven’t been put back on yet. I refuse to believe the loss of Hart and Walker is the difference between night and day. There has been serious regression across the board. Right now 95% of the players look like JAGs and completely replaceable

They were both going back and forth and TK cheap shot when refs in middle is what drove Frederic nuts. Should’ve even be involved with a guy that would destroy him. It’s all just for his coach and the authentics tho. Distract them from how bad this team is.
