Nice goal by Hall.

Their commentator is such a homer. Makes Gareett look unbiased

It really wasn't. It was a 2-2 that Burns turned into a 2-1 with horrid coverage. Backed off Draisitl then slid and took himself out of the play and allowed an easy tap in for Hall.

Colorado is such a bad team. The type of team you look at on the schedule as an opposing fan and just know you are going to watch your team do whatever they want. They looked like they had a passable system for 30 minutes tonight but the true Avalanche team showed up in the 3rd.

Awful reffering in the Canucks Rangers 3rd period

3RD PERIOD
01:32 NYR Dominic Moore Hooking - 2 min against Henrik Sedin (really soft)
02:57 NYR Jarret Stoll Delaying the game - 2 min (It's not even a real penalty)
03:19 NYR Chris Kreider Unsportsmanlike conduct - 2 min (Bench minor for clapping at the refs after the canucks tied it up someone should post the gif of AV)
03:59 NYR Ryan McDonagh Hi-sticking - 2 min against Alexandre Burrows (could have been a major or at least a double minor)
04:43 VAN Alexandre Burrows Interference - 2 min against Marc Staal (super soft)
08:54 VAN Christopher Tanev PS-Covering puck in crease - 0 min ( Tanev is not even covering the puck with hands and he's not even in the crease)
12:27 VAN Alexandre Burrows Delay of game - 2 min (really the only legit call)

One of the most poorly referred periods I have ever seen. Both referees should be fired or at least held accountable by the NHL

Stoll and AV penalties were both completely legit. The latter, I give the refs the benefit of the doubt - AV has a great relationship with most officials, he must have really pissed them off to get that call.

Now that I think about it, the Moore call was fine too. Burrows interference was iffy, but since they were calling a tight game I thought that was okay too.

Just an idea here. If you're going to complain about refs you should probably actually learn the rulebook.

yep it was horrible. Specially the stoll penalty which gave vancouver a 5 on 3 and scored... Horrible refs and it was both ways and just a crazy period overall.

Dont blame the refs for rangers loosing, they should have scored atleast a couple times the first 2 periods since they were dominating the game but the 5 on 3 change everything and they didnt really do much after that. Horrible refs, bad 3rd from NYR and to be fair pretty unlucky aswell. 3 shots atleast of the post and vanouver saved a couple right on the line or in the crease, but they gotta get it in the net. Would have been more angry at the refs if NYR actually was close to scoring te last 5 minutes but didnt really create anything the last 5-10 minutes and no excuse for that! I also think the hooking/holding or whatever it was calls on lindberg/mcodnagh(dont remember) and edler where very soft, barely anything imo but they called them all night and as long as they do that im ok with it.

these 2 penalties were lame even up attempts by the stupid refs.

Burrows one was just fighthing for position, its like they are so desperate for an even up call.

LOL Chris Tanev he was knocked onto the side of the net by A Ranger player, and he gets called for it. He was as shocked as anyone and he never complains.

anyways great game, New York was the much better team, Canucks got lucky.

This has always annoyed me. Why is hitting the post unlucky? It is known the post isn't the net, and they don't move. If you want to score, you have to shoot the puck inside the posts.

It's not anymore unlucky to miss the open space towards the post by 3 inches than towards the goalie by 3 inches.
