It really doesn't take long for me to sour on a coach. Damn - you have one (scoring) line that works and two that don't. Fix it.

Also, don't put Brenden ****ing Morrow out there when you're down by 2 with 2 minutes left.

Kucherov can do both. I'm thinking of that one smooth no-look he made, I think to Palat, from behind the goal. Was it in an Ottawa game? I can't find it.

I don't know how the hell he did not score last night on that shift. You could tell it was just a game we were not supposed to win. :shakehead

I'm going to change my major to journalism so hopefully one day I can call Coop out on his ********

But after they removed Palat from the Pallahan line last season and replaced him with Killorn the line was awful and couldn't get anything done, especially in the PO, again it was Killorn that brought it down.

Palat and Stamkos were bad together at the start of the season, which is why he went back to playing with Johnson, the only other option for Stamkos is Kucherov but he'd be on his off wing and you're messing with the Johnson-Kucherov chemistry.

Can we as a group stop listing Stamkos' line first? It clearly isn't our top line based on most stats and the eye test. Plus, it would feed into the fiction that Killorn is a top line player, which he clearly ****ing isn't.

Does anyone else get more excited seeing this line come out more than Stamkos's? I mean sure his line might get a goal but more often then not their trying to enter the zone, turning it over and chasing the puck, TKO dominates possession.

I'm in this boat for sure. Stamkos is putting up points, but he's been underwhelming to say the least. And almost half of his points have come on the PP, so I think TKO is probably scoring at a better rate than the top line too. They're just flat out our best line and they've been the reason we've won or stayed competitive in a lot of games. They're like the new Ben Bishop. ;)

If Kucherov were playing with Flip, I'd label him a sniper. With Stamkos, a playmaker. He and Johnson have both become pretty balanced in that regard. Pretty surprising in Johnson's case.

Honestly, I still feel the Stamkos line has a better chance to score than the TKO line if and only if they can sustain more pressure in their offensive zone that they have as of late. Which has been a major problem. They have two guys who can finish and just need that setup/possession guy. Killorn is not that guy. Once they get set up in the zone they are deadly, circling the net like vultures, all eyes go on Stamkos leaving Callahan wide open, if they had a stronger LW, they would have more options with another threat on that line. The biggest issue like I said, has been the sustained pressure, they get it in the zone, and then the puck goes right back out to the neutral zone, or Stamkos tries to carry it over the line, and he gets stripped of the puck. If they can equal the time in the zone similar to the TKO line they will score more. imo. They have two guys who can finish on that line. Just need to get more opportunities, which they have been limited.

I still have faith in that line, well 2/3rd of that current line, and I feel the Stamkos line still needs a little work but it's getting there. I don't know how many more times Stamkos has to set up Callahan or vice versa to prove they have good chemistry going. TKO may cool off, and they have before, which was when the Stamkos line was on fire. This is why we need to get more scoring lines going. Imagine when both lines are hot? That is when you get those 5-0 or 7-1 wins.

Yeah they really need a playmaker. Hmmm, who do we have on the roster that has 1st line talent and is a natural playmaker? Killorn!? Yes that must be it! :sarcasm:

Cooper, comon man. Your an awesome coach, just stop with this stubborn crap. Put Drouin-Stamkos-Callahan as line one and TKO as line two and you could possibly have the deadliest 1-2 punch in the NHL. I don't see why he won't do it.......

Might have to start doing a Rudy-esc type chant at the arena for Drouin. Lol
