Oh look, attempting to make a point with a single still image well after the hit's initial impact.

Post the video or a gif. It was shoulder to shoulder and the head wasn't even close to being the principal point of contact.

And yes, retaliating after a legal hit is a penalty. Shocking, I know.

Looked like he gloved it down a second before the hit but I don't know what you consider possession. We've seen guys get obliterated without ever having touched the puck with it just being in their skates or in the vicinity and no calls are made.
