I like Mrazek but he has been streaky in the past and he was overdue to come back to earth after some great goaltending for months on end. He'll be fine but right now I'd be playing Soda as #1.

NMC makes him non tradeable even if we found an interested party since he likely only waives for Dallas who have no need or interest in him

If Houston gets an expansion team maybe that would appeal to him but that is not looking likely anytime soon

Not with 5 years left on his deal. At this point you’re hoping his reputation holds for another 2-3 years and he’s willing to waive to get out of a rebuild at that point. Ideally he’s gone once Levshunov/Rinzel start pushing for his minutes but it might even be a tough ask to get out of a year or two of that contract
