He's decent but he doesn't bring many intangibles that you want out of a 4th liner whether it be hitting, penalty kill, face-off ability, etc.

Koepke brings speed and thats about it so he's going to take some flack when he's not scoring versus someone like Beecher who can still play 2 minutes of penalty killing, crush the face-off dot and still get just as much in the forecheck
Sorry but your take on Koepke is so far off.

Wow I really unearthed something around here.

He made me eat crow last night scoring that goal but up to that point...2 points since Sacco took over and the only goal being a gift empty netter.

He's a mid 4th liner but is weirdly guarded of criticism around here when he's not producing.

Even for being highly touted as a forechecker, which I do give him credit for as more of a disrupter, he has one of the lowest takeways amongst regulars. He's not some sort of elite puck thief some people claim him to be.

All the bottom six...Frederic, Beecher, Brazeau, McLaughlin, and even Wahlstrom recently have all had their fair share of criticism. Why is Cole Koepke out of all people excluded from this?
6 goals 5 assits plus 9 for a 4th liner. Plays hard forechecks doesn’t make alot of mistakes. Not sure what else you want from a 4th liner.

Because he's a +9.

McLaughlin doesn't "float" around, he is a #14\15 F who plays responsibly. He just has limited offensive ability. Its why he is a 4th line guy. Last night was consistently 1F on forecheck taking body.

He won't be staying up much longer so save your hate for someone worthwhile.

Why refer to me pointing out that McLaughlin sucks (which he does) as hate? I see nothing worthwhile in his game. No hatred, he’s simply not good and nothing more.

What some fans don't realize is that Lohrei is only 23 and hasn't even played a full season in the NHL

I think he has lots of potential and just needs more experience and good coaching
He must be a star now. No excuses. No development time.

Bust or Boom. Zero room for work in progress.

They way some fans act, you’d think Providence was absolutely stacked to the brim with top line F/D prospects eating each others young in order to get a spot with the big club.

Lol, well when you describe him as a "floater" which HE NEVER IS, excuse me for calling you out on a ****ing lie about him.

I guess you need to be written a letter explaining the fact there are about 500 Forwards playing in the NHL in a 32 team League. There are multiple MM around the NHL. Chill out because I'm sure you'll survive a 10-15 game stint in a Boston uniform this year.

Yep. Lots of people love to throw the hate word out there. Don't agree with them? .... you're must be a hater.
Seems to be nothing more than a poor attempt at closing out a debate or argument. Like a kid covering his ears and yelling "la-la-la-la-la-la!!"

The two additions to the line up last night, compete and second effort were noticeable most every shift. Why didn't they dress Friday? Lysell was fine. Good attitude and did not appear to be selfish, I saw him share the water bottle on the bench couple a times. Koepke skates like Dave Forbes used to, speed and
effort on every shift. Shows a little skill from time to time. Not as heavy as Dan Paille was but if you liked Pie-Eyy how could you not like Cole? And he was free. Lohrei +4 , Sway with a 0. Call 'em out when they are bad, praise ' em when they good.

Koepke played Friday night and McLaughlin was the other new forward inserted.

No offense, but the only hatred I see is the hatred that you have for me. McLaughlin does float, not a lie. He has less than NHL talent, yet we are forced to watch him every night for some reason.
I thought Wahlstrom was brought here to be given a real chance as a player who clearly has superior talent to McLaughlin. I guess not.
I am happy for you that McLaughlin is getting to play for some reason. We all need hero’s.

TB has the best line in hockey and are the Leafs with above average D and goaltending. They are Florida's biggest threat in division. If B's play R1 against Florida or TB, all things equal they don't stand a chance.
You never know a hot sway and take it too 7 and score overtime on a marc McLaughlin deflection of the butt . Anything can happen .

I thought we got Wahlstrom to actually give him a chance to be a regular. Instead, McLaughlin is allowed to float around every night? I don’t understand this.
I’ve been watching on my iPad mini at work lately during downtime so it can be hard to identify individual players but I haven’t really noticed Wahlstrom all that much . I think if he wants to play regularly he needs to find another level . I realize he is getting acclimated but hopefully there is more with him .

Wahlstrom's "effort" is less noticeable than Koepke, Kastelic, Beecher & McLaughlin.
Maybe a bit better than Frederic has been.

I'm really starting to hate this team. One game they look like cup contenders the next they look like the Buffalo Sabres. C'mon guys, consistency is key!

Keep lysel on line 3. He's better than whalstrom
Can't break up the other 2 lines they have been doing to good. Geekie 6 goals this month
28 playing noticeably better with 63-13
