I really doubt that Lysell will be the answer to anything but it sure would be a happy new year if he surprises and steps up. The opportunity is certainly there and if he really wants to be an NHL player this is a moment to seize. A fast skating sniper is certainly something this team badly needs.

I'm not sure where they play him, but if they want him to succeed he needs a shot at top 6. So unless he's replacing an injured Pasta I'm probably moving Coyle back down to line 3 since it's been useless without him.

Maybe go with Brazzeau Coyle Kastelic and bump lazy Freddy down to the 4th line or even the press box.

I think Lysell played last night? Tells me there is probably an injury more than just a normal call up. Could be wrong

My uneducated guess he replaces wahlstrom on the 3rd line

Ty Anderson's best guess on 98.5.com says third line also.

They should’ve called up Poitras too if they’re looking for success on the third line cause then you’ll see effort… not just see 3 quarters of a line going through the motions.

If Beecher and Wahlstrom are sitting, are the Bruins going with 11F and 7D? Is McLauhglin playing even though he was technically sent down to Providence?

Kinda funny in hindsight they called up a small army of plugs before they considered giving Lysell a chance.

Like why not do this a couple weeks ago? Did we really need to see McLaughlin, Viel, or Tufte or the 9 games they wasted on Tyler Johnson over this kid?
Yes, they play hard, practice hard, listen to the coaches and support their teammates. Lysell doesn't. Happy to see McLaughlin still in the line up.
