Predicted thec$9.5 effect...obviously the heights of 2nd last too much for Hawks to handle ...more comfortable in dead last ...especially realizing their great "leader" ($9 5) was back to "inspired" them to emulate his goofs and his lazy play...so Pace and hustle and effort gone into the ether..poof!
A total team stinker inspired by the return of Jones...who could have imagined it? I OF COURSE DID!
The problem is we are stick with this albatross 5 more season plus the remainder of this season..
The enthusiasm the team showed in last 3 wins immediately evaporated once Jones got thev ce. Like death struck and a stupid of fog hit the pkayers' brains.. the Pace slowed to a turkey crawl as too many players just stood and watched Flames skate past them.
He's a no. 1 d on a bottom dweller which means he really isn't a no. 1 d, he's just better than old vets and young inexperienced rooks until they force him out or down.Saying the team is better with him would imply he makes a difference. He doesn't.
What an incredible pass by Bedard and incredible determination by Bertuzzi.
Sorry I need the translatorI know your 9.5 stuff is hyperbole, but honeslty I agree with a lot more of it than I not.
We literally just had 10 or so games without Jones, and we saw it isn't much different than it was with Jones in the lineup.Right. Throw Crevier in for 25 minutes and I’m sure we won’t see any difference.
Boot him off any powerplay to start. Eventually the team later.I don't like to perpetuate arguments but to all the guys here the question is do you want SJ playing top minutes going forward? I've seen enough of bridesmaid SJ and want to see the young guys (especially Vlasic but even KK) seeing the ice and handling the puck in important situations. Vlasic already has shown he can lead the play on rushes and eat minutes. I hope Lev and Rinzel outdo Vlasic in their development arcs and make this argument academic going forward.
Nazar too.Sorensen had Reichel on the PK. And he was very noticeable.
