He has the skill, but not the speed and drive. His foot speed skating backwards makes him look last at times.

I am just saying today at least, he's been our best defenseman and he's generating the most offense from the back. Just find it weird today when he's arguably having his best game for us and is noticeably, in a good way, all over the ice, is the one to single him out. Especially with Heddy, Cernak, and Raddysh playing like shit.

I feel like the team needs to play against the Solar Bears as a wake up call to see how bad the defensive structure is. While the Bears might now score, they would have 20 odd man rushes and extended zone time for sure.

I think its time to move Kuch around in the lineup, mask him on another line and take advantage of the second change. The way Vegas is playing Kuch is absolute perfection.
