If I'm being honest, it still feels better to beat Carolina and/or Washington than it does Detroit. It might not be as sweet in the standings, but, the whole conference shift + new division just makes those games with Detroit feel weird to me. There isn't any built up animosity yet.

That was an annoying goal, Bishop should not have had his 5 hole open that much, and some sloppy defensive play that allowed it.

PP was an issue under Boucher and still is under Cooper. Do both coaches suck at coaching the PP? I don't think so. Our mix of players to use on the PP is most likely the big issue. Just using him as an example, we need a F like Brad Boyes. A guy who really likes to fire pucks on the net from anywhere near the slot, and also a big body in front, deflections and rebounds, like Malone used to be before he started to suck,.Holmstrom was one of the best ever at it, someone along the same lines.
