Korch had a phenomenal game. Might be playing his way into never driving northwest on 90 again
Came here to say this. Thats the flash we have been looking for. Puck possession through the roof! Moving the puck up ice all game.

Reichel Korchinski Nazar Bedard Vlasic Allan Crevier (besides the 1st goal) all looked the part today. Great news.

Mikheyev Hall Tuevo and Bertuzzi rounding into form. Good stuff last night. Game of the year.

I cant believe we are playing Connor Bedard with Ryan Donato SMH.

Unfortunately he probably will due to the way the roster will look when Jones and Martinez come back. But if you squint, and I mean this, he looks a lot like Duncan Keith out there. Think about where Duncan Keith was at his development at the same age. Look at the skating, the motor, the vision, and the stick work. All he needs is more snarl, edge, and yeah positioning...

Just got home from work. Looked up the box score. What the in the actual hell happened last night? On paper a billion dollars are earned on a $100 parlay if you got that right.

Hawks caught a tired team on second night of back to back games. They totally outplayed them but were over passing and not taking enough shots but pulled out the win late

so do we think there was some trade talk in regard to hall? there are some teams who need something if they are going to try and make a run for the playoffs. Buff rangers etc. what they could do is trade for him now at 50% and then in 2 months if they dont look like playoff you can flip him with another 50% the 2nd 50% IE you would recop most of what you spent.

If a team is dumb enough to think this version of Taylor Hall is their panacea I'm here for it.

Special teams has been a pleasant surprise this season, so far.

The powerplay percentage is high (inside top 10 last I checked, I think?) but it's still frustrating to watch. Outside of Bedard, zone entries seem to still be a bit of an issue and even he struggles at times. I get it though, he's still just a kid and may try to force the issue a bit too often when trying to enter the zone. Those "misplays" should remedy themselves as he matures and gets more comfortable playing at this level (and as the Hawks surround him with more talent over time, hopefully). With that being said though, it's MUCH better than it was last season, although that's not saying much.

The PK is lights out. The Hawks as a whole are near the bottom of the league in PIMs I believe but when the PK is called upon they seem to shut the door. Personnel like Dickinson, Foligno, Mikheyev etc seem to be great PKers and keep things really simple. I don't think they'll score many shorties but I think that's because they never seem to take chances on the PK which can lead to scoring chances for the opposing team.

I hope I didn't just jinx the PK
