Really??? ... because he got pissed on a borderline call with 3:30 to go in regulation? Give me a player who takes that shitty call in stride and you got a quitter. Donato took that emotion and created the winning goal! Is that dumb?? FFSDonato is such a dumb hockey player.
Not bad. About as expected. Over hyped and could use more time in the AHL.Couldn’t watch. How was Nazar?

I'm starting to think they should extend him or trade him. It would suck to lose him for nothing. At the very least, he could be a sweetener with another vet for a better draft pick.He had a good night for sure.
No.
Because he took a stupid penalty 200 ft from his own net with <5 mins to go in the game, on top of all the other things that make him a dumb hockey player: tunnel vision, holding on the puck too long and skating into pressure/running himself out of time, tunnel vision, no playmaking ability, tunnel vision.
I think we will get the most value/interest at the trade deadline for Donato. You nailed it by saying he is a swiss army knife. He is the kind of guy that playoff teams want because of his versatility and willingness to do whatever it takes.Donato is a Swiss army knife. He's decent in a pinch anywhere in the lineup but you could do better. Dare I say Kopeckyesque.
Yep. Donato seems to fall a lot and isn't the most skilled player but his 100% effort and determination are to be admired. Too bad some of that grit wouldn't rub off on a few of the chronic floaters who often go through the motions.I think we will get the most value/interest at the trade deadline for Donato.
