There is no wonder about it. All of this focus on Blashill is a joke. One guy is in charge and he bears the responsibility. Whether he's a good coach or not is irrelevant at this point. Whatever his message is, it isn't working. Somebody needs to come in and put the hammer down.

This isn't the first time they've been out of playoff contention mid-december and worked their way back in, so not impossible, but it's hard to see the light right now. The entire season so far has been 1 step forward, 2 steps back. I honestly don't know what the solution is here. Vasy has been a bigger help than JJ, but it hasn't been the savior moment we'd hoped it be.

Still the same result we need like 5 goals to win a game . We have allowed the second most goals in the nhl

Sergachevs game has a high risk/pride kind of problem. Instead of making the safe and high percentage plays, he does the wildest shit. Look at that giveaway at center ice where he busted ass for example. Instead of making an outlet pass he pushed the puck up a second time thinking he'd dipsy doodle the guy but never got to it and wiped out. Turnover. It's dogshit play from an 8M defenseman we don't need. He should be reliable and he's not in the way you expect based off experience or pay.

Point looks very flat. Team as a whole is shit. Vasy has got to be fuming right now. Defense is just doing c-cuts in front of Edmonton players and inviting them to tea. f***ing pathetic.

Serge had that fight on New Years Eve against Buffalo and he played lights out after that. He’s never been able to recapture that level of play. He’s just too inconsistent to be counted on playing #1 minutes.
