NOVEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

I play center this year. That’s the biggest difference, I think. There’s different responsibilities.
Center’s my position and trying to play as much as I can and try to focus on the details in my game and bring it to my game.
- Filip Chytil

I felt we played really good, really hard and with a lot of speed.
We scored in big moments, the penalty kill was really good, and we didn’t allow them to come into the zone many times.
- Alex Georgiev

We all felt very good about what happened against Tampa.
A complete 180 compared to what was going on against the Bruins, but it was a different feel.
I just thought it was a continuation of what we did against Tampa.
- David Quinn

Shinchanuuh said this in Preds pgt.:
Anyone talking about how down they were on this team or how shocked they are to see us playing well or how surprised they are to see how great some of the young guys look (especially chytil)...if you've also been constant whiners then I want to smack you right in the mouth.

Some of you have been here for years and should know to expect exactly how this season has been going. It's nice you're all so happy but it doesn't make up for the crying and whining when they lose. The gloom and doom. The stupid predictions, analysis and decisive judgement hot takes.

A good 10-15 posts had me thinking like "are you serious? With how you've carried on? Just shut up."

Imagine a guy on your team starts insulting everyone, complaining about how bad you all are. He clearly has no clue about how to play either. He can't come up with anything other than saying who sucks. A bunch of plays get drawn up, a bunch of other people execute, you win and the whining idiot raises their arms while smugly looking like "oh I knew we had it". That dude starts bragging and talking about how good everyone is going to be. He can just tell. **** gets old after a game or two, let alone a year or 5.

I swear maybe 20% of this board as any degree of self awareness

Thought I had posted this, but got deterred and didnt wanna waste my efforts.......so for your entertainment......

This season is like so predictable. We are going to beat vood teams that take us for granted (see TB game), lose to teams we may think we are better than. Play great one game, get demolished by a more experienced and desperate team when we may be tired. (Reference......all those days off, brings many a 3 games in 4 nights)

The kids will show their obvious talent one game, and then get absolutely schooled by the McDavids, Crosby's and Ovechkin's the next game.

As a fan.......as long as you prepare to watch and root and KNOWING they might not win, but as long as they play hard and the kids show growth while exciting us.......well, win or lose, what else could you hope for.......or expect?

I am so excited (yes, at my old age) about this team and its future that I may pee myself.

In what? Less than 2 years we ALREADY HAVE iced a team that is fun and exciting to watch? Despite a 7-4 beatdown by the Bruins and some future bad losses? Who cares? This good stuff is happening waaaaay before we could ever have imagined. Pretty sure other fellow "Vets" like myself, feel the same way.

Everyone wants instant gratification, but this is a 2 year instant gratification which is NOTHING in NHL time, when you look at the big picture. Just ask Buffalo, , Florida, Edmonton and even Toronto. (I suppose they eventually came OUT of the rebuild as well as now finally Carolina)

This game will be a good gauge of the mental fortitude of the Rangers. Easy game to take too lightly.
Would be a great win, and will show that they don't take anything for granted. In other words, possibly getting a big head, that they are all of that and a bag of chips. Pretty sure Quinn would not allow them to get complacent.

On the flip end, Ottawa gets paid as well and they could easily beat us.......that is hockey.
With that said, I think Rangers 6, Ottawa 2.

Vesey and Shattenkirk got shown on Gardenvison but neither got much of a response from the Garden crowd. Most of them were probably on their phones and not even paying attention. :DD

TAKE VENGEANCE MY FRIENDS.

UNLEASH YOUR FURY.

YOU HAVE FOUND THE SPARK IN THE DARKNESS.

LET IT BURN LIKE THOUSAND SUNS.

YES, YES, I SEE IT NOW!

THE SPARK, THE FIRE, CONSUMING, PURIFYING, CLEANSING.

BURN, BEAUTIFUL FLAMES, BURN. UNTIL ALL IS GONE...

WE HAVE A SAYING IN MY COUNTRY

THE COYOTE OF THE DESERT LIKES TO EAT THE HEART OF THE YOUNG

AND THE BLOOD DRIPS DOWN TO HIS CHILDREN FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER

AND ONLY THE RIBS WILL BE BROKEN
