It's a coward move that made no sense from the beginning, even though I think I'm in the minority here. You play your best against the best. You don't send Georgiev out there against Drai and McJesus as the sacrificial lamb to save Shesterkin for what's perceptively the weaker competition in Calgary, which IMO was not at all the case.Crazy if you think about it. If we start shesty yesterday we at least split this
Because the 4th line is the only line that plays North South.Reaves line is our only good line. Seriously they look like they’re on a PP whenever they’re out there
Same here and I’m on the West CoastI can't believe I'm staying awake to watch this
The rest of our lines only play SouthBecause the 4th line is the only line that plays North South.

It's a move that reeks of arrogance. So on brand with the rest of the organization. And now you want Shesty to play Florida back in New York when you're flying back across three time zones with only one day's rest?
They chose wrong when deciding who was going in net and when on this back to back.
I think Gallant and the rest of us needs to realize that the term "weaker competition" is limited to a very very small number of teams. You don't send Georgiev out there against Drai and McJesus as the sacrificial lamb to save Shesterkin for what's perceptively the weaker competition in Calgary, which IMO was not at all the case.
You know he would Bust here
Another thing is that first goal. It’s a big deal. Teams get behind and start taking chances. Sometimes it works but in this case those chances just turned into goals against.I partially agree. I also think we are playing some loose hockey out there. Very undisciplined. And we're not winning enough battles or getting to the net. Markstrom is great right now. But the way you score on a guy like that is by taking away his eyes with screens, deflections and rebounds. We've done none of that.
Not having Chytil is not helping, but the team has lost whatever structure it had. Didn't have it last night either. We are trying to win only on talent and off the rush. It's really hard for us to win that way. Especially when we're so darn loose and soft everywhere.
