[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Certainly there’s a lot of communication and they’re such good players, it’s very easy to play with them.
I think every line was firing on all cylinders. We’ll see if we continue to generate chances moving forward.
- Chris Kreider

I’m very happy to be back at center, but I’m happy to do whatever. When I was at wing, it was going well. We got a winger back (Hagelin) and we think we had more balance.
Overall, I feel more involved in the game at center.
- Brad Richards

There was a lot of atmosphere in the stands, and there was a lot of atmosphere on the ice. Just what I expected.
- Alain Vigneault

Can't lose to the Sabres. Otherwise the last game means nothing.

Hopefully the Rangers do three things that they haven't done so far:

1. + 2) win two games in a row--win on home ice.
3) score more than three times in a game.

what would the fox say?

4-0 Rangers! That's what the effin fox says!!!!

Happy Halloween!

Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello is really working as a line right now. I wouldn't mess with that.

By all accounts this Sabres coach Ron Rolston is in way over his head and it's only a matter of time before he's gone. Maybe even after tonight. Think John MacLean in New Jersey, but with less talent at hand...AND the Sabres just traded their best scorer.

Cannot lose this game.

Think you go with the hot goalie, doesn't matter to me and I'm going to guess Hank gets the start.

Never underestimate a team or take them lightly. But I'm all honesty it's a very winnable game. IF we play like we have been off late. This game will speak a lot about this team. Do they meander out and go through the motions or do they play with killer instinct. Hopefully they play with intensity.

Look at the team he was given. He is over his head?

The Rangers can't call up a better player to play rather than inserting Mashinter. Does Mashinter play with Boyle or Brassard?

If it was me, he'd be with Boyle and Pyatt on the 4th line. Dunno what AV would have in mind.

Also, despite Kristo's play it is clear that NYR do not think he is ready for this level yet.

Mashinter wasn't too bad when he played in Philly. For 5-8 minutes he will be fine. Why even have him on the roster if you aren't going to play him for short stints if someone like Moore gets hurt?
